Create your Talvin account

Setting up Talvin takes a few minutes. You’ll sign up, create your organization, and answer four quick questions about your company.

Before you start

• Use a computer. The Talvin dashboard doesn’t open on phones or other small screens.
• Want a free trial? Book a demo and our team will turn on a trial for your organization.
• Joining a teammate’s account? Accept the invitation they sent you instead. You’ll skip the organization steps below and go straight to Interviews.

Step 1: Sign up

1. Go to app.talvin.ai/sign-up.
2. Click Continue with Google, or enter your email address and a password.
3. If you’re asked to, accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then click Continue.
4. If we email you a verification code, enter it to confirm your email address.

You’ll see Setting up your account… for a moment while Talvin creates your account.

Step 2: Create your organization

Your organization is your company’s workspace in Talvin. Your interviews, candidates, credits and plan all belong to it, and teammates you invite join it.

1. Optionally, upload your company logo.
2. Enter your organization’s name.
3. Click Create organization.

You’ll see Finalizing your organization… for a moment.

Use your company’s real name. It appears in your interview links and in the emails candidates receive.

Each account can belong to only one organization. If you try to create a second one, Talvin shows Organization Already Exists.

Step 3: Tell us about your company

Next, you’ll see Tell us about your company. Every question is required.

1. Your Company Location: choose your country.
2. What is your industry?: click the option that fits best. If you choose Other, type your industry in the box that appears.
3. Your company size?: choose the number of employees.
4. How did you hear about us?: click an option. If you choose Other, tell us where.
5. Click Finish Setup.

Talvin confirms your details and takes you to the Interviews page after a few seconds.

Step 4: Take the product tour (optional)

The first time you open Interviews, an interactive product demo opens on top of the page. Click through it to see how Talvin works, or close it with the X in the top-right corner.

Once you close the demo, it won’t open again.

You’re in

You start on the free experience. The banner at the top of Interviews reads: “You’re on the free experience — build your interview, then upgrade to invite candidates.”

On the free experience you can build one interview and see how it works. To make it live and send it to candidates, an admin clicks View plans in the banner, or Upgrade Plan at the bottom of the left menu, and chooses a plan.

Signing in later

Go to app.talvin.ai/sign-in and sign in the same way you signed up. Talvin takes you to Interviews.
